Late Sunshine

A late break in the clouds lit up the flowers on Erythronium 'White Beauty'.

Erythroniums or Dog's Tooth Violets (the bulb is shaped like a canine tooth ... but violets they aint!) enjoy a cool, moist situation.  Here in dry East Anglia I grow them on the North facing side of the garden where it is cooler. 

Weekend tomorrow but here every day is much like another at present.
