Silhouetted cormorant

Went to Bedford Hospital for a blood test before my appointment with the oncologist in 2 weeks time, then stopped for a walk in the embankment park. This tree on an island in the lake is a favourite roost for cormorants and shooting into the light produced a lovely silhouette
