Scar-e-crows

There are several fields around Linton sporting rather splendid scarecrows, as well as floaty flags.  This one looks pretty scary to me....last year we had angry birds.  

Everything is springing to life, the green shoots are getting greener and the first flush of yellow indicates from miles away which fields are planted with rape seed - it's especially lovely to walk the dog in the spring.

Whodunnit wellie update - the mystery deepens as now they're gone.
