Wheatley Windmill.

All this week I have seen this windmill each day and not been able to stop to take a picture of it. Finally, today on my way home there was a break in the traffic that allowed me to stop. The first evidence of a windmill here dates from 1671, however, after much fire and wind damage new machinery was installed in 1784.It was in regular use until 1919 when it fell into disrepair again. Restoration began in 1977. My next aim is to try and visit it properly as I understand it is open to the public.
