Laughter is the best form of medicine

Today I had to travel to Ely in Cambridgeshire for a work thing. My Aunt and Uncle live nearby and my uncle is seriously ill in Ely hospital so I took the opportunity to pay him a visit (and I took my mum).

Uncle Len has changed so much that it was quite a shock to see him in the hospital, but as soon as I produced ChickenDave it was smiles all round!

For those of you who do not know who chicken Dave is... He is a rubber chicken that is having a big adventure at the moment!! Yep, he has been seen pulling pints, he has been hooded and kidnapped, been seen with his head down the loo and even part of take that!!!! Today chickendave gave great amusement to the folks at Ely hospital, and it have me pleasure to see my uncle Len laugh and smile.

Laughter is the best form of medicine so they say. So get well soon Uncle Len.
