Light

There was a power cut at work today (it was also at other places!!), it came as I was typing a report on the computer, and then darkness wth hardly any light coming from the window on a cold dreich day.It was then I got my first visitor, the chef from next door:-

Chef - Hi mate whens the power coming back on?

Me - I dont know

Chef - I thought you guy's knew everything!!

Me - apart from when the powers coming back on

Chef - could you find out for me I've got a business to run

Me - maybe it would be better if you phoned Scottish Power

Chef - Who?

Me - Scottish Power, you know the guys that make the power.

Chef - I cannae see the number we've got no lights

Me - that would be similar to my circumstance
