Landing in South Carolina
I flew in to Savannah, GA late this morning, picked up the rental car and then drove a short distance to a wildlife refuge in South Carolina. There was not much going on other than a few slow moving alligators, red winged blackbirds, a Blue Heron, and a flock of Ibis. They were quite tough to photograph because they would fly low from one part of the marsh to another and it seemed like there were reeds blocking my view no matter what I tried. Fortunately this picture came out (with the help of a slight crop).
A group of 24 have converged on Savannah for the Band of Blippers Bash 2015 (Keyword BOBB2015). It was great seeing many of the folks from the BOBB2014 and meet some new folks too. Take care and a HUGE thank you to Bikerbear for organizing this event.
