Operation Par - Galaxy of Stars

Tonight my dear husband was a special star, an honoree of Operation Par's celebration of 45 years. Drug Abuse is very serious.  Operation Par's mission is to strengthen our community by caring for the individuals and families that are impacted by substance abuse. They provide the resources and teach the necessary skills needed to battle the impact of addictions. I applaud the board of directors, the employees and the many individuals who throughout the 45 years have made significant impact in our community,  but most of all I applaud the men and women who are seeking help for their addictions. It is a rough road that no one willingly starts on. It takes a community of caring people to help fight drug addiction. It is nice to get all dressed up for the event and enjoy the gala. But in doing so, we put on a pretty face to something that is very ugly. I pray that if anyone who is reading this needs help with addiction or has someone close to them that needs it, will be able to through such a  fantastic program  as Operation Par.
