Pick of the bunch
I'm pleased to say the wee man was in much better form today, not only being nicer to his sister, but also sharing his toys with other kids in the playground and being well behaved and helpful for his mama.
The wee man's preschool had a pony visit today, so even though it wasn't a school day for him, we tagged along in the hope we could snap a picture of him on the saddle. Alas, he was a firm 'noooooh!!!!' when we asked if he wanted a ride. He did, however, pat the pony and feed it a carrot (with a little help from Dada), which is pretty brave considering he's such a cautious little guy.
If it wasn't obvious by the picture, the wee man has a new favourite pastime - picking his nose. He's a generous soul too as he insists on giving his bogeys away to Mum and Dad.
His sweet demeanour definitely made the day easier for both Mama and Dada, as we tag-teamed getting up with the wee lady last night around 3:30am. Her sleeping patterns have been a little erratic lately, so we think there must be a lot of cognitive changes afoot behind those bright (so far, still blue!) eyes of hers.
That said, since it's only the second time in 12 weeks we've had to get up in the night with her (thanks to her co-sleeping), we're still counting our blessings!
