Macro Filter Fun

Today was the day to try out the new macro filters properly and Blip Mate and I went looking for tiny fungi with which to experiment.

It was exciting to see how the macro world can be explored and fiddly to get the focus just right.

However, this is not fungi - it is an unopened bud of what I think is  wild borage. I was intrigued by the way the whiskery surface trapped the drops from last nights rain with one big drop hanging below. There is also one large drop on the front surface which distorts and magnifies the end of the bud a little.
