Wave Moth

I took a couple of hours out this morning, and wandered - lonely as a cloud that floats on high, etc. etc. etc.  Except I had the dog with me, and I didn't see a single daffodil.

But I did have a great time, lots of birds and this tiny little wave moth (Scopula sp..).  A very common species through Australia, day flying, and generally feeds on plantain and other weed species.  It's not as sharp as it should be because I took it with the telephoto lens, and the 100 macro would have been much better, because I could have got antennae detail.

Drizzly rain, very dull - but that had it's benefits because there were very few people in the park, except for a few hardy souls braving the elements for a birthday party on one of the ovals.
