My balcony garden experiment

My belongings haven't yet arrived from Prague so still not living in my own apartment, but I'm collecting plants for my balcony garden. Today I visited the fabulous farmers markets in Canberra. So many delicious temptations. Bought this wonderful chili plant to grow my own hot stuff. Here it is sitting next to my peas which have sprouted. Maybe in spring, even if I don't find a job, I'll be able to eat! That is, unless my thumb is black rather than green :) I also bought a head of organic garlic so that I can grow my own, but I need to invest in some more potting mix.
