Norfolk
We are away for a few days in Norfolk now and today has been an outstanding one.
Our first visit was to Grimes Graves Flint Mines - a Neolithic site near Swaffam. They have several old mines and one is now accessible via a 90 feet ladder - it was a bit unnerving but well worth the climb down and up again.
Next we went to Oxburgh Hall - an old National Trust moated house which was beautiful.
Then - the picture today - went to Castle Acre Priory - which although was ruined many many years ago still holds an amazing sense of peace and calm.
Then a walk along the water side at Wells-next-the-sea which was a tad fresh but still lovely.
Rounded off our day with a fish and chip supper sitting in our car watching the sea at Cromer. Happy me :)
