Up close & personal with a fulmar, Eshaness.

Arrived in Shetland to stunning bright sunshine (18degrees at 8.30am) - quite a change from what we'd left! Had been woken up, after a very clam sailing, by the sun streaming under our cabin window blind at 5am - the problem with an east-facing cabin!

Spent the morning in Brae with Jem's grandad, who we stayed with, then up to Eshaness for a wee walk on the cliffs at the lighthouse. Very glad we'd spent a bit on a nice carrier - not many walks in Shetland are suitable for a pushchair! Found an interesting Starling nest-site at the Braewick cafe - take a look.
