Little Grammar Policeman

I bought this book for Leo, mainly because it is similar to his other Diary of ... type books. However, it is not a hit! He came and gave it back to me and said 'Mum, you made a big mistake with this book. It is full of really bad grammar and I only know good grammar so I can't possibly read it!'

He is kind of right, but I think it is forgivable grammar for a pig! Certainly better than by swine-ish!

It was another really warm day so lots of outdoor stepping for me :) That'll help with my plod through France.

Ian is in shock after a trip to the dentist which resulted in appointments for a replacement root canal and a crown. To add insult to injury he has to fork out over a grand for the pleasure! His tooth collapsed whilst he chomped on a chocolate digestive which wouldn't have happened if he had started his sugar free diet earlier - you can imagine how well that went down when I mentioned it!

And so much for Leo enforcing the diet. We were at the Library this morning and Leo didn't fancy walking home so we phoned Ian who offered to collect him in the car for a biscuit - and Leo agreed! Scandalous! I left them to it and plodded home instead - slackers! I have bought them both pedometers and they are languishing in a drawer somewhere - think Leo got Ian's walking genes not mine which unfortunately only extend as far as a walk to the car!
