Wareham: cherry blossom and almshouses
The building dates from 1907, and is built in brick and ashlar (dressed stone). It substituted for a much older - second - almshouse in East Street. The town's original almshouse for "for the maintenance of six antient Men and five Women" was endowed in 1418.
