The Wind Eroded Cave

The kids were all pretty exhausted after yesterday's activities so today's outing was restricted to a bushwalk to Anvil Rock and the nearby Wind Eroded Cave.

Elizabeth is naturally very cautious and not a worry near the steep areas. So I was surprised when she happily clambered up into this quite large rock cutting.

When we got home we had a game of chess. She is teaching me and is a remarkably mature tutor for a six year old. In fact I won but that was only because she helped me so much, and pointed out that I had her in checkmate which I hadn't realised.
