Leonard Cohen - Hero!

We've spent most of today in the old part of Québec City, including the excellent Musée de la Civilisation de Québec. What a lot we've learnt about the history of this fascinating place.

Then we came upon this set of very shiny chairs in a park. Eventually, when we had translated the French information board, we discovered that they were there to commemorate 400 years of the founding of Québec and the chairs represented 40 heroes. Why chairs we have no idea! We were pleased though to see Leonard Cohen had been given a chair!!

Tomorrow we collect a car and set off for the mountains.
