Cell Sieve

I had a lab a few weeks ago where we fertilised marine larvae and watched as they had their first cleavages and eventually (a couple of days later) grew cilia and moved around the petri dish.

Here's a photo of the tiny sieve I used to remove extra sperm from the eggs after fertilisation!
