Launch

It's that time of year when my house fills up with festival brochures of all shapes and sizes and I try to plot my cultural activities for August, carefully balancing budget, timescales and domestic responsibilities.

The Traverse theatre launched their programme today, all part of the Fringe of course which also had a big launch. I'm going to go and get busy now with pens, diary and scraps of paper. I'll try most things across the arts spectrum during the month, although I draw the line at opera. And mime.

Music, been listening to some vintage indie. When this album was released back in 1988 I virtually wore it out.
