Birmingham Donkey Sanctuary

Today was Matt's Dads birthday, we didn't know what to get him so we adopted a Donkey for him at the Sanctuary in Birmingham, which is fairly near where they live.  The Sanctuary is within Sutton Park, which is huge!   
The Donkey's name is Oscar (he is the brown one in the photos) and he had 2 friends, Moses and Junior.   Ted, despite being very wary of horses, cattle and sheep, loves Donkeys and had a great time meeting and greeting them.

The centre offers Donkey assisted therapy to many school children with additional needs and Oscar is one such Donkey.

Matt's Mum did us a lovely picnic which we sat in the sun and ate and then made out way south again.

When we got home we did a couple of hours on the allotment which is beginning to look loved again.
