A hole in the wall

Guess what happened today?..............................................

Me & Ozzy, my very gorgeous golden retriever boyfriend (who is staying with me), had to go to work with Ann because my very lovely dog sitter, Christian, is still in Australia.  How inconvenient is that?

First thing this morning we had a play in the field and then we went to the newsagents.  Ann had ‘sunny day’ clothes on because our weather app was full of little sunshine symbols.  It was NOT ‘sunny day’ weather in St Ives today.  It was so cold that Ann had to get changed into ‘winter clothes’ when we got home.  Anyway I digress............................

Before work we went for a play in the park.  And do you know what we found?...................

......................We found a hole in the wall.

Ann said, ‘Molly shall we go through this hole and see where it goes?’
So we went through the hole and guess what we found?...........................  A path leading through a field and up a hill??!!!

Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go exploring.  BUT by 2pm Ann had finished all her work so she said, ‘Molly shall we go through the hole in the wall and follow the path to see where it goes?’

Well do you know what? .....................The path went up the hill (so that we could see for miles around) and then it curved around and came back down into the horse fields at the back of the industrial estate.  I’ve lived with Ann for more than 10 years and we never knew there was a ‘dog walk’ here.

It's amazing what you find if you clamber through a hole in the wall??!!
