Rock And A Hard Place
We walked up the distant lump today with our daughter( madamejeune ) and her dog Bess.
It was twelve miles and 3,500 ft of ascent. We thought it was reasonably strenuous, the dog is too tired to get out of her bed and Mj described it as 'sedate' due to our geriatric pace.
It is Ingleborough in Yorkshire. The nearer lump is one of many rocks to the north west of Ingleborough in a geologically fascinating area where there are many caves and strange rock formations, a bit like a moonscape.
Wall to wall sunshine today. Excellent!
