Suspicious Rash

This morning when Orla woke up her face looked really red. Then it developed into a rash that spread to her neck and arms. She had strep throat a couple of weeks ago, so we were worried that she had scarlet fever (although she hasn't had an actual fever). We tried to see a GP to no avail, so our only option for getting medical assistance was to take her to Westmorland general hospital. Ed sat in a cubicle with Orla while I was in the waiting room with Conor (luckily there were toys and books!) and we were still there three hours later with no sign of seeing a doctor. The rash had started to fade and Orla seemed absolutely fine, so we decided to leave. At least we knew where the hospital was if we had to go back, which fortunately we didn't.

It did feel a bit odd all of our friends leaving today, so at least this took our minds off it!
