Back to my world...

I loved my holiday, this time yesterday we had just got back from the beach. How quickly life returns to normal, I came back & then went to Old Moor as it was my turn to do the sightings and I needed a few photos. It was gloriously sunny and beautiful. I saw 7 'cootlets' in the reedbeds, the first chicks I've seen this year. They are not the prettiest of chicks but they looked it today in the wonderful early evening light with reflections of the reeds on the water... Here's to the next holiday to Northumberland! :)
