Non league characters

You have to love non league football... As Lady A and a friend shopped it up at Lakeside a few of us braved Essex to watch Town try and cement a play off position and although it finished 1-1 these chaps we're delighted with our opening goal... clearly.

There are some real characters down the football league (and a few that are a little odd) and refreshingly it's not about which clubs have the most money etc but down to perseverance, talent, fitness and will to win.

Anyway it's feet up for a week, whilst eating a load of pasta, as the marathon looms.
