Playing cars on train to Newark

Spent morning getting ready to go, then the taxi came and we put all the things in, and set off for the station. Well, not all, as it turned out - not the buggy (Mummy had settled for taking the single buggy so I didn't mind) or the snacks and drinks (more serious). Still, we got to the station in plenty of time, wandered around looking at trains, then got on the train and found our seats. Discovered they weren't ours and found the correct seats for the outward journey. There was a girl sitting at our table but she was really nice, so we let her play with us. We had to buy water on the train and tea (so we got lots of little pots of milk) and we had our sandwiches and other snacks.
When we arrived, Grandma and Grandpa were there to meet us. They had car seats ready in their big red car so we drove all the way to Nottingham with them, Mummy in between us. Baby did not cry for the entire journey. At G & G's there was food and a garage and a house and a doll and lots of books, and we could even have a wee bath. I have my own bedroom there too.
