Greedy!

One of my local roads has a magnificent display of dandelions along the verge and I was fully expecting to find lots of insects enjoying the nectar-fest. The sun was out, the skies were blue... but I spotted very few, one of which was this bee. I can only assume that the nippy wind-chill factor was the cause. It certainly made getting this shot very difficult as the flowers were being blown about.

Despite processing, the final jpg is still more orange than I would like, but I have to say that I don't like the bright yellow of the raw file either.  I do like the frilly pollen skirt the bee seems to be wearing though!
