First cut

A gorgeous day so out in the garden to do some ditching, draining and the first cut of the lawn this year.

I was cutting some drain pipe to make a nice join. Every so often you get a premonition. Normally I'm pretty careful to make sure I don't hurt myself. This time i ignored the premonition. A 1 inch gash in the forearm. What a pillock. So 10 minutes later after a quick change out ditch smelling clothes and a hastily applied dressing I was checking into A&E. 20 minutes later I was walking out with a couple of stitches and a proper dressing. A big big thanks to the ladies in the Western Isles Hospital A&E. Very efficient.
