Luckily I saw this guy at the last possible second - we very nearly saw eye to eye - literally.
Lots of nest building activity today with the phoebes setting up under the front porch and the titmice in a nestbox. I heard the hawks, but never saw them.
We were planning on going to the observatory tonight and then the clouds rolled in...
