The Airborne Toxic Event at Glasgow Garage

My first time at this venue. Was very surprised that it wasn't bigger - they deserve a bigger venue really but I suppose they're not so well known over this side of the pond. Walked in, straight up to the front and half an hour later the band were on. Only slight problem was that I was stood behind the tallest bloke in the place - a giant wookie of a guy who seemed to be having a quasi-religious experience. Which is okay in 13 year-old girls watching 1D but not in a giant bear of a bloke. Each to their own. I shuffled sideways and had a pretty good view. Unfortunately this photo was grabbed very quickly and cut off the violinist/keyboard player Anna. Which is a shame because I don't get many chances to take photos of girls in hot pants.

Really enjoyable gig. Hot, loud, sweaty. Tight band, good songs, a quite fanatical section of fans. Well worth seeing if you get the chance.
