Pigeon House, Poolbeg, Dublin

A view from the ferry.  Back to England.  The old ESB electricity generation station at Poolbeg must be one of the most impressive abandoned buildings in Dublin.  The Pigeon House Hotel is a fine Georgian building with history, but this area of the docks is completely inaccessible to the public.  Only in Ireland.  Anywhere else would be a cultural or tourist destination.
