But, then again . . . . .

Rubbish.

We had a mass litter-pick in the village today but the Friends of Roslin Glen, of course, concentrated on the country park. This little pile was collected outside the park itself and is waiting to be picked up by the ranger, there was already twice this amount loaded into his van.

The excitement came when a well fit young lady (I think that's the modern expression) arrived dressed in rubber; and I think she sent several old hearts into overdrive before going into the river, up to her neck which came as a bit of a shock to her, and retrieved half a canoe that was caught up in the vegetation on the far bank. It was an odd sort off half too; both the front and the back quarters were missing. Had I been on the ball I might have blipped either the lady or the canoe, or even both; but I was unfortunately busy half a mile away while this was happening; instead, you have a rubbish blip for today.
