California flowers

We planted a lot of flowers in a little bed that we hoped would bloom! Many couldn't take the Californian drought but these purple ones are flourishing - someone will probably tell me they are weeds but they're pretty so I don't mind!! We had our first brief entry to the swimming pool today - just haven't had time until now but after a long day gardening and moving stuff around, my daughter and I cooled off with a brief dip! Hurrah for summer!
