Autumn Leaves

As promised I went back to Wentworth Street this morning to have another go at those colourful liquid ambers. Everything had changed. Today the nice diffuse overcast conditions had been replaced by blue sky and bright sun. This meant I could largely forget medium to long shots. There were far too many shadows and highlights to get a coherent idea of colour and form. Instead I tried plunging the camera into foliage to close in on some eccentric backlit leaves.
