250,000 strong
at an open air, free concert in DC, to highlight the dual issues of climate change and poverty.
Usher, Mary J. Blige, Gwen Stefani, Common, Fall Out Boy and Train all performed to the delight of the crow. Various talking heads, from the heads of the UN and the World Bank to actor Don Cheadle and Coldplay's Chris Martin, as well as a sprinkling of diplomats and government heads addressed the crowd (mostly 'interrupting' what was otherwise a rather energy-filled event!). Now to translate this into concrete action...
See here for the rest of my pix from the event.
