Avalanche

Today we had to drive to Anchorage, which is a beautiful drive through mountains and along Turnagain Arm (part of Cook Inlet). I got lots of practice trying different camera settings from a moving vehicle! The scenery far away is not much affected by movement, but of course anything close is blurred. Sometimes it's OK, but not always. 
I did get some shots that were more dramatic, but I thought this avalanche was more interesting. It is quite a long distance away, so doesn't look that big, but if you were close it would be enormous!
