Dachshund waiting for flight call

Owner of this little critter recognised my Scottish accent at Tucson Airport  and asked if I knew where Slamannan was, as his father was from there.

He told me that his father had emigrated from Scotland in 1930s, but had died when my new-found acquaintance was four in 1938. He also told me that he never thought he could have loved an animal so much. It was rescued from a dog home.
