Puffy tree swallow
It was fairly chilly this morning, only 5C. I was up early so I went to the McKenzie Marsh while Linda slept in. Lots of red-wing blackbirds, some Canada geese, a few mallards, a pair of cardinals, one starling, and this lone tree swallow warming up in the sunshine.
Last year, a week earlier, there were tree swallows aplenty already nesting.
