Porty People and Places

On the opposite side of Portobello High Street from the SNP Pop Up Shop is the Portobello Town Hall. Today, as you can see, it was festooned in Thai flags. 

The Town Hall Diary records a private function. 

Due to busy garden clearing works and a trip to and from the recycling site I did not have time to find out what was going on. It is probably a Thai New Year celebration, but could be a Martial Art Festival or a  Thai Marital Ceremony ! Who knows?
