An afternoon at the Races

Can there be anything more satisfying than
to find that the Bookies have paid for your
lunch ! And so it was at Ripon today. The
handicapper had got the better of Tinsill,
seen on the parade ground. But he had an
excellent campaign last year and, as they
say, nothing good lasts forever. Nor does
anything bad! Where would we be without
dreams?
