All Things Bright and Beautiful

This was the first hymn sung this morning on our visit to the Covenant Presbyterian Church here in Austin and I thought it was an appropriate title for this lovely modern stained glass window. In UK we are so used to old churches many with lovely stained glass but there is something refreshing about being in a modern building with all that goes with it - even the lovely shiny organ pipes - I liked the way the colours reflected on them but with the very bright light behind the window and only my compact camera it is a little difficult to show.

Last full day here in Texas and granny is already getting upset about the thought of leaving little Abigail tomorrow when we fly home - next trip will be next February on our way home from our long-awaited trip to New Zealand.
