Park life

Birthday celebrations in the park - not mine but the big picnic with lots of cake (and an energetic game of frisbee or rounders for those so inclined) has become an annual fixture. Given the gamble of having an outdoor event without convenient shelter close to hand, most years it works out well. Not quite so much this year - it wasn't bad enough to deter the hardier souls on the invite list but the unpredictable British weather served up plenty of strong winds and intermittent showers this time.
