Then there were four

There was a fourth monkey for monkey movie night, in fact, it is the very mother of the monkeys that joined us. It is such a rare treat that in addition to the usual monkey menu, I'm did something special for us grown-ups. On the menu: Asian lettuce wraps with peanut sauce and fresh cilantro (crumbled, crisped tofu, savoy cabbage, spring onion, carrots and ginger) From the grill: balsamic/honey/garlic glazed salmon. To top it off: my first attempt at angel food cake (success!) with raspberries and whipped cream.

They enjoyed Paddington and Enchanted, and I got to hang out and chat with the monkey mother, who is the top three of my list of all time favorite people. Mr. M scored some major points when he insisted on cleaning the kitchen all by himself.
