Now that's my sort of cinema

It's been quite a while since I've been to the cinema and experiences of going to the local Vue cinema in Harrow do nothing to entice me back. But this evening we went to the Rex Cinema in Berkhamsted and it was a joy. Cabaret style table and comfortable swivel chairs and, most importantly, a bar. It was great being able sit and have a chat over a drink before the film started then, when the lights went down, just swing your chair around and watch the movie.

We went with Greg and Sandra and Paul and Kay, and we saw Still Alice. It was a good film but a bit depressing. Julianne Moore is brilliant in it and you can see why she won the Oscar, but it was very sad. A nice evening though, and I would definitely recommend the cinema.
