Paradox Basin

Today we had a lovely sunny warm day for the first time on this fieldtrip. We headed out today to look in detail at the salt evolution of the Paradox Basin and the surrounding area. To get to some of the outcrops we had to drive along a riverbed and through winding canyons with brilliant standing stones.
