PUKEKO (deceased)

In days gone by when mankind was discovering new species we often saw pictures like this.  They killed them for speciman shots.  The only way we see them now is when we have " road-kill"  it seems a shame as with the advent of the motor-car & commerce(business) the birds and other animals are being pushed back into smaller natural arena's. Lots more "roadkill"

The other point to be made is that this bird is fair game - you can shoot as many as you want -  Hmmm.Kentucky-fried Pukeko !! Now that's dark.
