That time of year . . .

Along the cliffs the ledges are filling up with fulmars, choosing their nest sites for this year.  Lots of noisy squabbling and arguments going on!  A chilly day with an icy wind, back to wearing a hat and gloves!

In the allotment the broad beans, onions, garlic and spinach are all up, together with a variety of weeds!  I gave the hens some left over cauliflower cheese - never seen them so animated and excited!  Ollie was slightly put out - any left overs usually end up in his bowl!
