Laurel flowers

The laurel bush in my front garden is covered in these lovely flower 'candles'. I've had the bush for nearly 20 years and I'm not sure I've ever seen so many flowers on it - perhaps the heavy pruning I gave it in the autumn frightened it in to producing so many this spring!
