Sports Day

It was Thom's sports day today. By some miracle the rain was not as bad as forecast and it got re-scheduled to the afternoon and it all went fine. Thom was in Team Avengers who all did really well but they did not come in the top 3. The teams were made up of children from P1-P7 and it was really nice seeing all the kids getting on from the different years and looking out for each other. Thom did really well and I'm proud of him for keeping trying all the way through.
Outside of sports day it's been a busy one as had to dive to get secret stuff for tomorrow and then headed out again after school to the shops again to get food and Skylanders (cleverest marketed game I've come across). Then the day was rounded off nicely by a trip up the coast to Once A Sheep for usual knitting and banter.
